This mind-blowing photograph, taken from the Hubble Telescope, shows the death throes of a star, exploding with two gargantuan lobes of hot gas and debris. The dying star would have once have been fives times the size of our Sun, and the resulting explosion has created one of the hottest places in the galaxy at just under 20,000 degrees Celsius.
it’s not ‘work’, exactly, but here’s a little something i recently threw together for a friend’s wedding- we were told to wear flowers in our hair :)
this may look like a serene, reflective moment, but i’m actually sitting at the bus stop, reading an online article about abdullah the butcher (because, even with flowers in my hair, i’m hardcore to the bone).
